Bottle shared by hellbilly at his holiday tasting. Lightly hazy yellow color pour with a thin head. Aroma of malt and white wine. Flavor is just like the aroma. Though not fantastic, I am happy Josh convinced himself to share this. I’m not worthy! Thanks sir!

Nov 7, 2009 Sample at GABF 2009. Pours a clear yellow to golden color with thin white head. Aroma is bread, wheat, yeast, fresh wine, light citrus, honey. Flavor is about the same. Light to medium body with a watery finish.

Oct 13, 2009 On tap at GABF 2009. Girlfriend wanted to try this. Clear pale golden-yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is white wine, spice, grain, and citrus. Flavor is, well, a lot like chardonnay. White wine stands out, fairly sweet but not overly so, with some light fruit notes and a little grain and spice. Finishes a little dry and crisp with medium-light body. Not too bad, better than regular Blue Moon for sure.

Sep 22, 2009 Tap at Studio Square. Very pale golden-straw coloured beer. Creamy white head. The nose is almost non-existent. Just a light kiss of straw and a fairly bright citrusy tartness that I can only assume is coming from the grapes. Very light but I can’t say it is uninteresting. Tart and a little bit fruity, but the fruit seems vineous and quite attenuated. It really does come across like a mix of light wheat beer and crisp tart white wine... which isn’t nearly as bad as it sounds.

Hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured fruity and hoppy with a crisp slightly dry and creamy malt finish.

clear yellow pour with a slight white head.
this smells and tastes like a glass of chardonnay mixed with a cheap pale lager (cereal grain and white grapes)... kind of a wine shandy? not great but interestingly unique.
anyway, it feels more or less like wine with carbonation...weird. 6/3/5/3/13/3.0
