This had a unique, almost indescribeable taste to it. It started off with a slightly roasty taste but finished very crisp with a great flavor I cant describe. Im not a huge fan of blue moon so I wasnt expecting much out of this one but I was surprised at how good it was. This was a very good beer and went well on a day where the temperature was minus 9 degrees Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Dec 20, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a dark amberish brown with a pretty clear body. Virtually no head, but a little beige fizz does appear at the beginning. No lace. Looks like a flat soda. Aroma is very feint, but a little nutty, brown sugar, and a bit of wintery spice. Flavor is similar with a little bit of sour berries and stale toast. Light bodied and no real aftertaste. Overall, a terrible beer. Sparky27 (1641), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours a deep amber with a 2 finger tan head that faded fast and left zero lacing. Nose is fruity with cinnamon notes. Taste is caramel malt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Lighter mouth feel. Better than I thought it would be, but still not great. wilkie (1193), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2008 Pours a deep mahogany color with a thin head. Hint of caramel, but definite brown sugar notes. Seemed sweet as well. Nice sweet sugary malty taste. Great balance between malt, hops, and the flavor (caramel and brown sugar). A really good beer from Coors.
