| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Feb 13, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden copper color w/ a large head. Decent aroma, I prefer more robust Holiday Beers. Really was expecting more from the Blue Moon folks. Chapel (330), Levittown, New York, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 11, 2008 Abbey Dubbel? Really? Strikes me as more of an Amber.
Pours copper. Slightly roasted taste with a bit of that caramel/amber flavor. Nothing in the aroma. Meh, about on the level as Blue Moon I guess. jgb9348 (2500), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 11, 2008 Cola coloured copper hue with a large soapy tan head and tons of bubbles reminiscent of vernor’s soda. Aroma of ginger, nuts, malt and a horrible amount of metal and blood - nothing too pleasant here. Light-bodied; Horribly fake sugars dash the taste with caramel and some gross prunes tucked into the metal and malt that are most prominent. Aftertaste shows metal and nuts, but mostly a disgusting fruit flavour along with strong alcohol. Overall, a pretty bad beer and not even CLOSE to a belgie dubbel. I had my doubts about this one and I was definitely right - this isn’t worth ANYONE trying. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 10-February-2008. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 10, 2008 Has a flavor that rates just slightly above tap water. Boring beer with a pale color. Forgettable and unimpressive all around. Avoid if possible. thehurt01 (203), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 9, 2008 A 12 0z bottle. This is a fairly good beer with a amber color body with a creamy head. The taste is a candy nut taste with malt. A nice Holiday beer. Good carbonation and lacing.
