12 oz bottle from Total Wine in Jacksonville, FL. Aroma is spiced and a bit of malt. Pours a nice dark copper orange color with a thin head. Taste is slightly sweet, but I don’t pick up anything from this other than the usual run of the mill winter ales made by big breweries. Bleah.

poured into a glass. has a medium rich roasty flavor. has an orange-red color to it. with a light bitter taste, can’t really taste the dark belgian sugar. would say this is a medium body beer. with a dry mouth finish. overall its an ok winter ale. but Great Lakes Christmas Ale takes the gold.

Poured from bottle. Nice aroma of roasty malt and spice. Color is the same color as the bottle. Malt prevails in the flavor, oak and pepper notes as well. Not enough of the Belgian sugar they advertise. Weak, watery feel. Finish was OK. Not bad, but needs some work.

Dark clear amber pour, big white head. Aroma is sugary bready. Taste is buttery, nasty candi sugars, a gross caramel cloying sweetness. Thin watery body, low carbonation and this is just the weakest attempt at a belgian style ever. Gross and it’s giving me a headache.

tasted like a shitty lager mixed with stale brown sugar from a wet paper bag

12 oz bottle. Poured way more yellow than I was expecting from a Dubbel. Some spice on the aromas. Sweet and somewhat fruity. Flavor was similar with touches of sweetness, but finished a bit dry. Just OKAY

As a blue moon fan I expected much more from them, but this beer is dead to me. I felt like I was drinking cardboard, it looked like a full beer but was severely lacking flavor.
