Quickstop - This one pours an orange brew with a fine bubbled, very light beige head of foam and a sweet, toasted malt aroma. Tastewise, this is a pretty pale winter brew, with no complexity, light body, and a cloying sweetness. JoeMcPhee (5056), Jackson Heights, New York, USA

Some soft cinnamon and toasted malts. A light chocolate character despite the pale appearance. Fairly industrial malts with a bit of clove/nutmeg and spice. Toasty and sweet. A bit of honey. Not bad, but not good either. JohnnyJ (1356), Carlsbad, California, USA

Sweet malt, caramel, toffee, wet cardboard, light fruit, a bit of spice and earthiness. light to medium mouthfeel. It’s okay, about what I expected. SynergyXJ (506), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 12, 2007 Bottle Amber pour with little head. Very mild aroma and flavor, a bit of earthiness in the flavor. Really not much to this one. Pretty watery too. What kind of Belgian would you expect from Coors? | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 12, 2007 Almost perfectly mediocre. Why is it called an ale? It’s not horrible, but for a seasonal that should at least provide some kind of departure from "regular" beer, this doesn’t come close. More like a sweeter, more heavily carbonated Banquet Beer. And why does it say "RETIRED?" I just bought this shit today. hopscotch (5555), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 12, 2007 Bottle… Clear amber ale with orange highlights and a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Good retention. Toffee, caramel, praline nose with lesser notes of ginger, cinnamon, and earthy hops… with a whisper of diacetyl. Medium caramel sweetness with mild earthy bitterness and winter spiciness. Medium to full-bodied with a prickly mouthfeel. Sweet, minerally finish. Good thing I don’t rate to style. Not even remotely dubbel-like, other than the sweetness. All that aside, probably a bit underrated. clueo (112), Pennsylvania, USA

The finsih is smooth. Overall an okay Winter brew. sew13 (9), Cranston, Rhode Island, USA does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 11, 2007 Smells quite malty with a hint of brown sugar. It pours a nice color of orange with a pour white head. A little watered down with a hint of sugar and tartness. Medium bodied. Overall alright.
