| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 27, 2009 33 cl bottle, Fargo, ND. On sale so why not try. Pretty flat looking brown, faint malt aroma, probably would go over better if it wasn’t billed as an abbey. Too weak and thin, more like a bad attempt at a dark or something. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Not bad for a macro brew pretending to be a micro brew. Pleasant flavor with a sweet fruity aftertaste. Some spicing involved. Only problem is that it is mighty watery. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Feb 25, 2009 12 oz bottle from local Food Lion. "Abbey ale brewed with a hint of dark belgian sugar" Okay if you say so. Maybe a hint of some Belgian yeast character or dark sugar in the aroma, and a bit sulphury. Clear almost a cola color with small tan head. Flavor is of unfermented sugar with a grainy cardboardy flatness. arventresca (342), Greenville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 24, 2009 Pours dark amber with white head. This is what I consider a light winter ale. Drinkable but not much bite or body. HAve had many winters this season, and this one aint where it is at. craven5000 (55), Westville, Indiana, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Feb 23, 2009 Clear amber color. The body had the feel of water. The flavor was just some watered down spices.
The 6-pack was a complete waste of money and time.

Aroma of caramel, nuts, brown sugar, and toasted grain. Flavor of caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. SODAK14 (107), Rapid City, South Dakota, USA

I was disappointed in light of the fact I really like Blue Moon. Was hoping this would be a better quality. It did have kind of a cool color when poured. Lose the brown sugar... it did not help the taste.
