Full bodied thick mouth. Initially sweet but then fades to a nice mellow malty scent. The Pumpkin comes in at the finish and is a really pleasant aftertouch. A very nice seasonal, that I think I prefer to the one other Pumpking Ale I have had from St. Ambroise. mar (1972), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 21, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear red/orange color with a nice tan head. I loved the spicy aroma. The beer had a light body, thin texture, soft carbonation, and a nice long finish. The flavor was definately a pumpkin spice. I really like this beer. I think the spicy flavor comes out better when thoroughly chilled. scooterbub (390), Lander, Wyoming, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice copper color with a large, clingy, biege head that slowly fades. Taste is of pumkin, spice, caramel and malt. Aroma is much the same, but not as noticeable. Has a good mouthfeel. Very easy to drink, quite tasty and is pretty fulfilling. For the price this is a pretty good brew and is worth buying again. agillespie81 (206), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Light amber color...fluffy head. Spicy clove-like aroma. Front has quite a zest to it, combining the spice from the aroma with somewhat of a citrus taste...slightly crisp mouthfeel. Flavor gradually mellows into the back, where the pumpkin notes finally begin to come through. Finishes malty with an ever so slight tang. Altogether an enjoyable brew...pretty lacking on the pumpkin flavor though. fidel (1015), Livermore, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 18, 2008 Medium amber, malty, lots of spiceiness, little pumpkin, little caramel, little hoppy. Hank1980 (776), Athens, Georgia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 18, 2008 Bottle. Poured clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma is malty pumpkin, with some spice. Taste is also spiced, malted, and lightly hopped. Not a bad brew. Light bodied. Mild finish. mgermani (865), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Nov 2, 2008 Pours a clear brown-amber with a brief off-white head which reduces instantly to a small ring of foam. Very faint cereal (cornflakes) lightly sweet. Some nice brown-ale style malting, but more in line with an extract-based homebrew. Slightly skunky hops with a vaguely spicy finish - can’t really pick out any pumpkin here. Lightly creamy with minimal carbonation. Quaffable but bland. I managed to fry my tastebuds with a granny-smith apple while cooking, and every sip after that tasted of fish. Mmmmm!
