| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 29, 2008 super clear bronze. THis head. Nose was buttery at first with spices then exhibiting a peak at actual pumpkin aromas. Flavors were pretty orward with the pumpkin pie spices but lacking strong pumpkin characteristics. Other than spice, pretty malty beer of caramel & toffee. The lack of any pronounced hop character makes it just taste like a muddled spice concoction and there’s not much good character to the beer at all. It’s drinkable though but certainly not something to look forward to in November. Butters (1651), Virginia, USA

Aroma of dish water and light nutmeg. Flavor vaguely reminds of pumpkins, but has a cloying sweetness. Kind of bad actually. Pass. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 24, 2008 12 oz. bottle courtesy of the Binny’s Singles Rack (Orland Park, IL). Another beer I have put off and finally decided to ’’Slum it’’ with. Pour is a decent dark amber pour, minimal head that almost completely dissappears. No lacing really. Aromas are nice but a bit light, consisting of some decent brown sugar sweetness, a touch of cinnamon, and some pumpkin. Taste is a bit more dissappointing, taste is in the body where vague notes of cinnamon and pumpkin dance around but take a effort to fully notice. Too light of a taste to be a beer I can praise, especially considering the style it attempts to be. Bitter finish that I somewhat enjoy, but loses smoothness points. Where is the taste, Coors?! ratman197 (3240), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 20, 2008 After a nice nose, just an average attempt at a seasonal. More pumpkin in the aroma than on the tongue. Although there is enough gourd for labelling purposes. Oscbert (549), Sacramento, California, USA

~Scent of pumpkin pie, malts, nutmeg, cinnamon, and bread.
~Flavor of rusted metal, pumpkin and malt. Very light spice.
~Creamy mouth feel, smooth finish.
~The scent was promising. Unfortunately, I think the bottle got the best of this one. Still drinkable and enjoyable though. Just wish I could have purchased a fresher batch. stoutscout (3), Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, USA does not count | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 19, 2008 Aroma of malt and a hint of spice. Poured golden-red amber with a white head and a slight lace. Wasn’t impressed with the flavor, as it only really consisted of malt, nutmeg, and a slight taste of spice, no pumpkin included. Smooth, drinkable cheap imitation of a pumpkin ale. Would not buy again due to the lack of pumpkin flavor. Definitely could find a better pumpkin ale that would be worthy of buying over this.
