Crisp and sweat from front to back. Caramel sauce dry finish. Not a bad amber, but docked for lack of pumpkin. Trdnuggets (11), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA

Not bad for an Ale, it shows weak hints of pumkin flavor, Not bad. jeremyd365 (109), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 19, 2008 Pours a hazy dark amber with a small white head and seemingly having medium-high carbonation. The smell is a pleasant spiciness with mild pumpkin. It is medium-bodied and sits well in the mouth. The taste is where it’s at! The pumpkin and spices land much harder than I would have expected from the milder scent. It’s got a strong finish and aftertaste which is really delicious. This one’s not too heavy either so it’s really drinkable. I’ll definitely be having this one again. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Poured a mild brown with a small tan head. Aroma of allspice and cinnamon, with small pumpkin notes. Flavor is slightly weak, but has pumpkin and spices present. Slightly weak body with good carbonation. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Sep 15, 2008 Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz. bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: The body has a deep amber color with good clarity. Its head is off white in color and builds up big and fluffy before quickly fading to just a very thin covering. Lacing is slick and slides down the glass as I drink.
Smell: Its aroma has hints of pumpkin with spicy clove and cinnamon over sweet bready malts.
Taste/Mouth feel: The flavor fairly mild with a semi-sweet bready malt mixed with touch of pumpkin and over cooked vegetables. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and pinch of clove add a pleasant spicy character that is well balanced and not overpowering. The finish picks up some mild hop bitterness and the spices slowly fade off the tongue. It has a slick watery texture with a light body and mild carbonation.
Notes: I like that the spices don’t dominate the entire flavor but the pumpkin could be a little more vibrant and it seemed to lack body. Overall it is still not bad and it is easy to drink.

Pours a very nice looking clear deep amber with nice lasting off-white head. Not much aroma, faint caramel and very faint pumpkin. Flavor is dry, light pumkin, light nutmeg, faint caramel, faint biter at the end. Mouthfeel is light-medium with high carbonation...Overall, very simple pumpkin beer that doesn’t really need any praise. blindeyedbetty (151), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 14, 2008 12 oz. pour is a light amber with tight off white head which leaves no lacing as it dissipates, which is relatively quickly. Aroma is faint pumpkin-nutmeg. Front palate is warm malt with nutmeg middle and a sharp clove-hoppy finish. Moderate carbonation with a thin mouthfeel. I really wanted to like this beer because I like Blue Moon in general, but this is not one of the better pumpkin ales I’ve tried. I didn’t get any of the "pumpkin pie flavor" that the description touts.
