Blue Moon Harvest Moon Pumpkin Ale

Light pumpkin, spice and hop aroma, with a flavor to match plus a mild, slightly sweet malty taste. Copper/Orange color with a foamy white head. Not bad for a Pumpkin Ale but that’s not saying much.

The beer is quite different. The aroma sucks. Much like faint armpits. The flavor the much better than the smell. It pours a nice dark orangy color with a small failing head. Faint pumpkin and spice in the flavor. It’s all right.

Any pumpkin addition is overruled by weird spices. Just say no to a "microbrew" owned by Coors.

Bottle - Poured a dark orange-amber in color with a small white head that faded, but still covered the beer. Aroma is slightly sour and malty. No evidence of pumpkin, yet. Flavor is quite malty... crystal/bisquit malt evident, but very little of the pumpkin and spices that I expected. Some residual pumpkin flavor on the finish, but very little. Somewhat bitter on the finish, but not hops... spice. Not a great example of a pumpkin beer...

Came in a 12oz bottle, different from the one shown in the picture. Has "Harvest Moon" emblazoned on the front. Strong pumpkin and allspice tastes. It’s wrong to compare it to the original Blue Moon; they’re completely different beers. Still, I prefer the Summer Ale or the Original over this.

bottled, clear amber and medium white head with plenty or carbonation, light aromas of malt and hop with a surprisingly lack of spices/fruit, light on the palate with lingering hops. Pretty watery on the mouth. Expected better from the Blue Moon line.

Bottle - Clear amber/copper pour with a decent foam head. Slight spicy note but rather dulled and even. Some light caramel and malts. Ok, drinkable but wear is the Pumpkin?

Pours to nice amber body with decent brownish white head. Taste is off spice more than pumpkins. Decent beer but the original is preferred.
