bottled, amber colored and medium white head with plenty or carbonation, light aromas of malt and hop with a lack of spices/pumpkin, light on the palate that is watery in the mouth.

Doesn’t really smell to good. Head disappears quickly... kind of washy on the flavor department. Nothing really sticks out like it should. Maybe because I was expecting some kind of spice flavor or pumpkin and all I got was kind-of watery towards the end. meh. Looks pretty nice.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear copper color with a thin head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma is toasted grain, caramel and light spicy notes. The taste is faint spice notes, toasted grain, caramel and a faint metallic note. Thin and slightly watery. Very strong carbonation. Not very good but by far the best Blue Moon product I’ve rated.

Pours a clear dark amber with reddish hints. Aroma of nutmeg and molasses. Spice is noted in the initial taste. Finish is a bit dry with a grain flavor. The pumpkin/spice really is not there.

Pours deep copper with a 1 finger eggshell head that fades to a thick ring after a minute or two and holds there. Aroma is sweet malt, light pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, a hint of caramel and mineral notes toward the back. Flavor sugary sweet malt, canned corn, pumpkin pie spice, a little pumpkin, pumpkin seeds to the finish. Palate is light bodied slightly slick and dry toward the finish with a medium carbonation. Pretty uninteresting and one dimensional, but really not too bad

I didn’t taste any pumpkin in this beer. It pours a nice light amber with a small head. Slight hints of spices in the aroma but little in the taste. Not very impressed with this pumpkin ale.
