I t is still the best pumpkin beer I have had, but that is probably due to very little selection where I live. Hopefully I can find others this year. A little bitter and not in a way that I usually like my beers. I don’t know where the "Pumpkin" part comes from, maybe they just wanted to differentiate this beer from Oktoberfest-style beers. garrison (455), Cin. city, Ohio, USA

Avoid this brew! This beer is presently brewed by Coors at its Toronto Brewery! This fall is the first time that I’ve ever seen it and it is awesome. The color is a superb red-orange and it fills the glass perfectly. The head is frothy and the body is great. It’s not watered down at all and it has a full bodied taste. I’ve only been able to find it in a six-pack, but if I could I would get it buy the case.
By the way, there is a pumpkin taste but it is just a hint to add to the flavoring. It’s not overwhelming at all. yankeefan21 (82), USA

It was actually an okay [not great] pumpkin ale and probably my favorite offering from their brewery. I still liked the Smuttynose Pumpkin better, but I prefer this to the Shipyard Pumpkinhead that everyone in the beer store was so crazy about. jobyone (234), Charlotte, USA

It pours a nice light amber with a small head. Slight hints of spices in the aroma but little in the taste. Not very impressed with this pumpkin ale. tronraner (1918), Seymour, Tennessee, USA

Pours copper with off-white head that falls gradually. The aroma is on the malty side with a few pumpkin pie notes, maybe a touch of grass. The flavor has more of a pumpkin-pie presence than the nose. Noticeable nutmeg, especially, comes out in the front with a dose of cinnamon and sharp carbonation. The middle has some mild grass and light caramelly tones. Faint spicy finish; not much aftertaste. This isn’t great, but I was kind of expecting it to be horrible, so I was pleasantly surprised.
