Everything. The smell is bad, the taste is bad, it doesn’t look good at all, it doesn’t go down in an enjoyable way at all. Avoid like the plague. marksahara (79), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Dec 27, 2006 12 oz. bottle. Pours clear golden orange with puffy crown. Decent retention with some lacing. Aroma is light with malt, caramel, pumpkin, but little spice and cinnamon. Flavour was very malty and yeasty and virtually no detection of hops except on the somewhat crisp finish. Not pleasantly tasty to me, however. Palate is medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, not a drinkable beer, IMO. The taste just turned me off and so far I have not had a good Blue Moon beer experience yet. This brewery has yet to prove itself with me but I am definitely looking forward to a beer that they brew that is of decent quality. bitbucket (2034), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 18, 2006 Bottled – thanks shigadeyo! Clear copper with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma of spice and yeast. Light-ish body with light carbonation. Light taste of pumpkin, spice, and maybe Belgian yeast. Dry spicy finish. A Belgian Pumpkin - or am I off base here? Anyway, the least pumpkin-y of the Halloween beers I’ve tried. Tejas (701), Dallas, Texas, USA

Pretty darn drinkable but has a WEAK body and needs more pumpkin flavor. bierfueralle (6), USA does not count | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 6, 2006 Bottle- I really like this beer. Slight orange tint, pretty light taste but finishes with a hint of spice too. Nothing spectacular but something I can count on every fall. Also had it on tap-smell was stronger but taste was weaker. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 6, 2006 I’m not a fan of Blue Moon but this beer was a definate winner. A seasonal beer available in the late summer or early fall and generally sells out long before fall actually arrives.
Tastes of some spices with a bit of pumpkin flavor hiding amidst the hops. Proves to be a great beer to drink as the weather gets cooler and the nights longer. stiffy42j (67), Brunswick, Georgia, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 6, 2006 pours dark orange gold with creamy head, not a very strong aroma but sweet. pumpkin flavor is not very present..maybe more cinnamon than anything. Brew is a bit bland. I think i’ll stick to regular Blue Moon. kseecs16 (887), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 30, 2006 Bottle had at the Westmont Brathouse. Poured a pleasant brownish amber with a moderate off-white head that would lace the glass a bit. Mild aroma, malts evident, lacking in the pumpkin area. I swear I smelled somethign like hops when it warmed up. A slightly spicy flavor with something resembling pumpkin in it. Watery mouthfeel, pretty blah beer.
