| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 10, 2006 bottle. almost no aroma. amber pour and thin head. very smooth. just like a pale lager. not much different except for a little spice and light "vine-ripened pumpkin pie flavor" After a while I forgot I was even drinking a beer. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Oct 10, 2006 I’m a huge fan of the Blue Moon Belgian White beer. I’ve had the Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale in the past, but it’s been so long I don’t remeber how it was. Luckily, my friend Terry brought a few bottle by to share... Color is amber and CRYSTAL clear. Very mild carbonation with a very slight crown. NO AROMA whatsoever. I’m still trying to decide if it even has any distiguishable flavor. In order to determine this, we have popped open a bottle at romm temperature... Nope, nothing. Tastes the same which is very comparable to a mainstream macro reguler lager. The mouthfeel is extremely light and watery, maybe even more so than a mainstream macro beer. At least it doesn’t actually taste like corn. I am extremely disappointed with this beer. Actually, I am so upset and let down that I want to go outside and smash the pumpkin sitting on my porch...

Smooth and sweet with a hint of nutmeg, This ale can help you get through the summer transition into Indian summer. Very low hops, great beer for newbies who enjoy lite beers.. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 8, 2006 Bottle: poured copper with a medium sized light beige head. Light spice aroma. Mild ginger and nutmeg. Flavor is quite light all the way around. Mild spiciness, mostly ginger, with low hops. Decent beer that’s refreshing. talon1117 (623), Bellvue, Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 8, 2006 Pours a sparkling copper/amber color with a surprisingly decent, off-white, pillowy head. Nose is lager-like fruitiness and pumpkin with a little cinnamon. Flavor is pumpkin, bready, clove, and allspice with no other ’support’ flavors present and a medium-low hop bitterness. Palate is medium to low, almost fizzy and a little watery. Finish is almost non-existant. The base for this pumpkin beer is excrutiatingly boring and does not create any substancial support to the nice ’pumpkin’ flavors. Not bad for a macro but certainly not a great fall/pumpkin brew. demitriustown (697), Shelby Township, Michigan, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 7, 2006 Bottle into a English Pint glass. Pours a reddish/amber color with large sized off white head. Aroma is orange, clove, pumpkin, light malt and hops notes, bubble gum, cinnamon, and sugar. A slight sugar taste and a very faint pumpkin note, some nutmeg, and it’s quite reminiscent of their Wit. Palate is slightly dry and stinging. Overall, I wasn’t impressed with this offering from Blue Moon AKA Coors. Figures... henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 6, 2006 The 12 ounce bottle poured a sparkling clear deep amber colored beverage with a small fizzy off-white head that was mostly diminishing but left some lacing on the glass. The aroma was true to the beers name. It smells like pumpkin pie with notes of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg but it does not overpower. There are also notes of malt that come through in this one The body was medium-light with soft carbonation and a smooth, light mouthfeel. The flavor starts off slightly sour with almost no evidence of the pumpkin pie that was evident in the aroma. There is a harsh metallic taste that arises in the first few seconds of the tasting that lasts through the medium length finish. Aurelius (2648), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 6, 2006 Sweet, caramel and slightly vegetable aroma. Clear, bright orange with a thin not-quite-white head. Nice label. Ding for the twistoff. Tangy, peppery hopping, lightly astringent. Medium body, nice carbonation. A fair picnic ale.
