Overall this is a 5 STAR AAA GRADE BEER, very unique, ONE of a kind. first before you question my opinion i’d like to list some facts about the Blue Moon styled beer and the way it is meant to drink.. people that have given this beer or any other Blue Moon bad reviews more than likely do not put the beers in the freezer before serving, afterall this beer was given its name (and company name for that matter) from the Blue Moon ice cream that originated in Wisconsin. hence the Blue Moon crystals falling in front of the moon and on the cap the moon with the triangle and "ice crystal" in the center, representing the crisp cold smoothness of frozen ice cream.. Blue Moon has a description on the bottle that quotes "This amber colored, naturally flavored ale is brewed only in the autumn & combines the flavor of vine ripened pumpkin & spices with traditional crystal malt." now, why do i quote this? because of the word Crystal malt and the refference to Blue Moon ice cream from the name of the Beer.. if you have not tried Blue Moon ice cream, you will more than likely not notice the taste of the Blue Moon ice cream in Blue Moon Belgian White. as far as Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale is concerned this beer is their BEST, tastes a lot like pumpkin pie and you can taste the large variety of spices with a little hint of Blue Moon ice cream.. Beautiful dark orange color almost a brown, thick stomach beer but VERY SMOOTH to the mouth, by far the smoothest beer current to date. the taste is very crisp and accurate to the description they give on the bottle. the BUZZ/HIGH is very strong, i don’t know exactly how they make it but it feels much stronger than 5.77!! this beer is meant to be served at a extremly cold temperature, if the bottles are already cold when you have them put them in the freezer for 10-15 minutes, if they are warm put them in for atleast 35 minutes and you will have a beer that makes you want to dance until the end of time!!

Best pumpkin flavored beer bar none. Excellent spicy flavor; no moldy pumpkin taste like some other pumpkin beers have. Orange color fits right in to the autumn theme of this exceptional brew. Another Blue Moon winner...

This is one of the best beers around. Remarkably smooth for an ale and a great pumpkin flavor.

Very delicious beer. This fall is the first time that I’ve ever seen it and it is awesome. The color is a superb red-orange and it fills the glass perfectly. The head is frothy and the body is great. It’s not watered down at all and it has a full bodied taste. I’ve only been able to find it in a six-pack, but if I could I would get it buy the case. By the way, there is a pumpkin taste but it is just a hint to add to the flavoring. It’s not overwhelming at all.

malty sweetness on the nose. dark amber pour with an off white head that is gone almost immediately. sweet and slightly spicy notes with a thicker mouthfeel. great palate.

GABF. Say what you want to say about Blue Moon/Coors; I like this stuff. Pours a nice dark-gold, with an aroma of pumpkin pie. Flavor is a liquid pumpkin pie like mom used to make. Palate is a bit watery. Good beer-- regardless of what anyone says.
