The aroma is rather dull with some honey and hints of citrus showing through. The beer contains a lot of synthetic honey flavor. It kind of tastes like Honey Combs cereal. Childhood flashbacks! I’m also picking up some oranges and vanilla. Overall this is more weird than bad but at least it beats Michelob Honey Lager. Its a honey of an O- Its Blue Moon Honey Moon! | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 9, 2008 Bottle. Near clear golden straw pour with quick fading white head and huge chunky particulate. Wheaty sweet aroma has some notes of banana. Flavor notes are similar but with some vanilla and light hop bittering. Astringent, crisp and cloying finish. Some aluminum foil metal on the tail end too. Won’t waste my time with this again... BeerandBlues2 (3230), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

The aroma was sweet and wheat. The flavor was smooth with a nice honey aftertaste. This was totally different than the first time I had it. Overall, tasty.
10/10/08 Bottle: Poured a light yellow with a white head. Think there might have been something wrong with this one. I had a lot of sediment in it. The aroma was of wheat and honey. The flavor was rancid with a gross honey after taste. This become a drain pour unfortunately.
