Gross palate which ruined the wheat beer experience. Flavors of honey, malt, yeast and orange flavors. Strong honey aftertaste.... way too sweet. Gave me a headache. I’d skip this one if you are a fan of wheat, honey, or summer seasonals. Rotorhead87 (117), Temple, Texas, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 26, 2007 Seems like a cheap wheat beer with some honey and a tad of orange added. Don’t really care much for it myself, but it will make a good "once I’m already drunk" beer. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 26, 2007 Clear for the style. Honey and wheat aroma. The same goes for the flavor. It has some spicey notes also, cinnamon and orange. Simple and simply boring. Cornfield (4970), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 26, 2007 This poured a pale yellow/gold body, quite clear and well filtered, with a thick ’n’ creamy head. It smelled of honey, wheat, soft malt, and orange zest. There’s a bit of spiciness in the flavor - don’t know what it is. Mainly it tastes of wheat flakes, honey, sweet orange pulp, and zest of orange. Crisp finish. I’d rather have a decent hefeweizen.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Drank a 6 pack while sitting on an island in the middle of Bass Lake. I liked this better than the regular Blue Moon offereing. Aroma was wheaty with some citrus and honey and spicy notes. This beer in a cup looked like urine. The urine that you get after taking a multi vitamin. The flavor was mostly straight wheat with some nice citrus notes on the finish. There were also some noticable sweet honey notes, but nothing over the top. It is not heavy. It is very refreshing in 100 degree heat. For an American Wheat, it is about 100 times better than Pyramid or Widmer. Fuckers. Go Coors! NachlamSie (1647), Tennessee, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Bottle split with NachlamSie. Pours hazy gold with a white head. The stink is gross right away, but I get acclimated to it quickly. I find some bread and honey that saves the aroma, actually the entire beer relies on the honey flavor to make it quaffable. It’s a mediocre beer with hints of metal, corn, newspaper, but serviceable hints of honey and wheat make it just okay. It’s bad, but a notch over the regular Blue Moon dookie. tronraner (1934), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Bottle, shared with NachlamSie. Pours light yellow gold with big tight white head. The aroma is raw flowers, wet hay, milk, and sweetness. The flavor is lemons, a few floral tones, general sweetness, a hefty dose of corn, and some grassiness in the finish.
