austinpowers (2827), New York, New York, USA Apr 24, 2008 Magnificent!!! Pretty sweet for a summer ale, and with noticeable hints of orange peel and maybe some honey (faint). There’s an odd wheaty characteristic to this brew, unlike anything I’ve had in years, but it’s refreshing! Almost zesty. I’d wager this brew is EVEN better than the regular Blue Moon, which is saying something! Utterly terrific summer lawnmower beer.
agillespie81 (90), Denver, Colorado, USA Jul 15, 2008 Deep golden color......somewhat hazy. Fluffy head, though it fades a little quick for a wheat. Faint hints of a sweet malt aroma. Slightly sweet honey flavor in the front......very crisp mouthfeel. Back is sweet, yet not overpowering......finishes dry. Good flavor, though greatly overshadowed by the dry, almost overly crisp mouthfeel. Lt_Col_Catsup (6), New York, New York, USA does not count Jul 13, 2008 A great summer ale. Light taste with a hint of honey and superb drinkability. Great with a light cigar. Not an evening or or dessert beer. crazyvin (1052), New York, USA Jul 10, 2008 Poured a clear yellow color with a thick white head which had great retention. Aroma was a bit of a disappointment no real honey note, just a one-sided wheat note. Flavor on the other hand had a mild yet well paired honey and a bread malt character. No real citrus note though. A light crisp finish. jehoey (669), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 7, 2008 pours light hazy gold with .5 inch of white head. smells like honey wheat bread and taste similar too. wheaty and fruity. lean body. I’ve had better. rman18 (140), South Amboy, New Jersey, USA Jul 5, 2008 I had this in a bottle - it has a yellow color with a large white head. The palate is lacking but the aroma and flavor are nice malt. Light on the honey which is good because I can’t stand too much honey. Overall not too bad - Best Coors beer I have tried.
