Commercial Description:
As hearty a brew as you'll find anywhere, Blue Moon's Nut Brown Ale is styled after the brown ales that are so famous in England. This ale's hearty character is derived from a blend of Munich and chocolate malts. Together, they give Blue Moon Nut Brown Ale a rich, creamy flavor that finishes with a nutty flourish.

I wasnt expecting much, but I was really impressed with this one. Great malt taste and really a decent brown ale. Id buy others first, but i wouldnt be unhappy with a blue moon.

Drinkable, good malt nose and a fair hop bite. Not a bad brown ale as they go, but a far shot from NewCastle.

Pours deep brown, with aroma of malt, slight toffee, and caramel. Tastes malty and nutty, with some caramel, almond, and malt flavor at the finish. Pretty good.

Bottle. A very tasty brew indeed! Smooth and very rich. Roasted malt and caramel. Pure joy. Sad that it is no longer brewed.

I haven’t had this in about 11 years, but I remember it being somewhat flavorful. It might have gotten a higher rating from me, but I am not a big fan of the style.
