| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 10, 2009 Bottle from a party last night. Beautiful copper color with a foamy off-white head. Nice aromas of citrus and other fruit. Medium body minus with some sprightly carbonation. A little light in the flavor department. Touch of citrus zest, and some rough light roast caramel. A bit gummy in the finish. Good enough to drink. Pretty weak for a Belgian. daknole (3027), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 9, 2009 Lithy, thanks for this. Amber pour, off white head. Aroma is grainy, fruity and some mild hops. Flavor is a tad sweet wtih some light hops and a lot of grains. Really not as bad as you might think. Pretty smooth even though it lacks some punch in the flavor dept. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 7, 2009 12 oz bottle from a mixed pack purchased at Frugal MacDoogal’s in Nashville. Poured a clear orange color with a three finger off white head. Aroma was of cheerios and citrus. The flavor was malty with a bit of caramel and citrus. This was better than I expected. Not something I would buy again mind you, but better than expected. TomDecapolis (3209), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 20, 2008 12oz bottle. Definitely the worst of the blue moon beers thus far (seems like I just said that about ful moon a couple days ago, haha). Slight aroma of malt and yeast. Thin, harshly carbonated body with a touch of malt and some rough bitterness with a bit of alcohol in the finish. They really meant just a touch of orange peel and hibiscus, ditto on the cascades. Stick to regular blue moon belgian white and you will be a happier camper. That at least is a passable wit, but this is an awful pale ale that has nothing remotely Belgian going on with it. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 18, 2008 A crappy attempt at a Belgian ale. Aroma was stale malt and biscuit. Pour was a medium gold with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was very sweet and wet. Strong malt with not much else going on. Decent carbonation with a light fruity aftertaste. The commercial description is right. This IS the complexity I would expect from Blue Moon.
