Commercial Description:
Pale Moon is a drinkable pale ale that has a distinctive hop aroma without the lingering aftertaste. This Belgian-Style Pale Ale is brewed with European malts, Cascade hops, and a touch of hibiscus and orange peel. These ingredients create a rich copper colored ale with a flavor complexity that one would expect from the Blue Moon Brewing Company.

POURS A COPPER COLOR. IT IS A BIT TO HOPPY FOR A PALE ALE. A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING AND IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BELGIUM IN ITS NAME BECAUSE BELGIUM IT DEFINITELY IS NOT. OK IF FOR FREE BUT I WOULD NEVER BUY IT.

Bottle shared by lithy. Poured orange with a thin off-white head. Decent hop aroma with some spices, butter, and corn backing. Sweet malt flavor with some light spices. Light body. Decent.

Copper color. Good dose of cascade in the nose. Flavor is decent, but after taste is awful. Close to being good, but not there.

Pours copper brown very little head dissipates right away Smells overly malty no real hop aroma Taste is overly carbonated lots of malt some grain Not very yeasty Drinkable yet too carbonated Fair effort but Id rather have a different brand Belgian if I had the choice I apologize for the lack of punctuation but rate beer is being a pain in the ass lately so I really have no choice Apparently commas and periods are too much for the website to process at this point

Pours a light amber with average head. Aroma is soapy, with some light malt and grain. Flavor stronger with hop, malt, and yeast, also some citrus notes. Decent brew, quite drinkable.

Nose is soap-heavy laundry detergent anise and candied/perfumed floral notes. Body is light, effervescent, refreshing, moderately smooth. Flavor is lightly sweet cane sugar and floral notes up front but quickly turns to sour, offensive fusel/stewed celery on the back. As expected. Belgian ale rating #100.

Very predictable hoppy flavor with consistent results. This is a good offering to get people interested in craft beers. Fairly spicy for a mass-produced offering. Overall pretty pleasant.
