agillespie81 (100), Denver, Colorado, USA Jul 5, 2008 Deep amber color......fluffy head. Light malt aroma, with many sweet notes of caramel. Slightly sweet malt flavor continues in the front, though quickly overpowered by an extremely crisp mouthfeel. A few citrus and hop notes manage to sneak out in the back......finishes a little dry. This beer might actually have turned out well, if not for the intense carbonation.
bretupdegraff (35), , Indiana, USA Aug 21, 2008 this beer did nothing for me. At least the conversation was good. It is drinkable but I will skip this next time I have a choice. Just kinds boring. tjthresh (1275), Greenfield, Indiana, USA Aug 17, 2008 Had this on tap. Darker red color with an off white head. Lots of carbonation. The aroma is nice and hoppy. Hoppy flavor with some biscuit malt and bit of a twang from the yeast. Medium body, sprite, with a dry finish. I thought this was a fairly good beer. I’d certainly drink it again. vikingguy (38), Chaska, Minnesota, USA Aug 2, 2008 Updated: Aug 13, 2008The first thing you notice about this beer is the hoppy aroma. The flavor is hoppy as well, but not as much as you’d expect. It starts slightly sweet and has an earthy/hoppy finish. Pretty good but probably won’t buy again. RSRIZZO (987), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Jul 26, 2008 Aroma is hoppy. Color is a nice ruby with good carbonation and a thin tight head. Taste is light and thin. Starting with a light body it goes down crisp. Finish is a thin light malt taste that has a little bitterness in the end. This is just another weak brew from MolsonCoors. Headbanger (958), Aurora, Illinois, USA Jul 26, 2008 12oz bottle-An orangish amber body with a loose off white head. Aroma of hops, yeast, orange, and grains. Taste of hops, malt, orange, and it has a dry finish. Not very impressed. Blue Moon has gone downhill since Molson began brewing the specialties.
