Pours hazy yellow. Smells like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, some toasty grains and mild spice. Flavor is big peanut butter, insane! Liquid sandwich! Very neat, but only to sample.

Tap at Studio Square for the New York Craft Beer Week. Clear golden amber pour with a thin white head. The nose is pretty nice actually. A lot of fresh toasted peanuts. A bit of light earthiness and a touch of light yeasty fruit as well. Fresh nutty swetness over a light crackery/husky maltiness. I hadn’t planned to like this, but I kind of do. This stuff is weird, but it actually works pretty well.

Tap at Studio Square’s Craft Beer Week Fest 2009: Interesting brew. Deep golden with great clarity and an off white ring of head. Unmistakable peanut aroma- some crystal malt notes under the oily fresh peanuts- actually natural and nice. Decent body with rounded texture. Some mild pale malt sweetness backs lots and lots of peanuts. Very natural peanut oil and a husky peanut character. Very interesting how they achieved this. I never thought Coors/Miller was capable of making a real beer- interesting. If you like peanuts you’ll love this.

Tasted at GABF 2008. Had to try this one. Nose of peanut butter and not much else. The flavor is nutty peanut butter that I actually enjoyed.

GABF 08. This is one of the craziest freaking beers I ever had. The smell is peanut butter... an I me real peanut butter and slight alcohol . The body is a creamy gold. the taste is just like the smell. Good carbonation.

sampled at GABF. I heard of a peanut butter beer they made years back with much fanfare so I was expecting to be impressed. golden pour. peanut aroma. nutty peanut butter. light and fresh. unique but one dimensional and a strange choice with a blond.
