12oz twist-off bottle. Pours a clear, light copper color, big white foamy head. No aroma, like a light American Pale Lager... The masses should love this! Flavor is foul. Bland malt character. Lime? Where’s the goods?? For a Wheat Ale it finishes rather refreshing. If you expexted something like I have, then this beer is shit. The other Blue Moon Seasonals are much more impressive. I’m not saying that those are good... this is just worse!

Not bad in any way shape or form...macro or otherwise. I wasn’t about to let this thing get warm on me, so 4-5 of them were sucked down in about 90 minutes time. Quite easy to drink and the lime is really subdued. It’s not the star of the show. Hell it’s not even in the supporting cast. But it’s there, and any more would be too much (see Miller Chill for too much). There’s not much to hang your taste buds on, so that can either be good or bad. If you want something quick and refreshing, this definitely will. If you want something with a little (or a lot) more substance to it, then there’s nothing to see here.

Bottle. Brown, surprisingly big head. A bit of malt aroma, but mostly sweet citrus. Similar in taste...touch of malt, lots of citrus, and some grains. As with a lot of these "moon" beers, the carbonation is heavy and makes it go down smooth. Not a lot of body, a bit too much odd citrus, but still somehow refreshing. I don’t think I’ll buy it again, but it certainly wasn’t terrible.

Bottle. Another wheaty junky seasonal courtesy of coors. Spice and fruit, but wheatiness dominates this one throughout.

THOUGHTS: Not very good. A little surprising since Blue Moon and Full Moon are decent for what they are. One of those rare beers that actually tastes better cod and in a bottle. I also prefer my wheat beers a little cloudier. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, light amber with and average, white head that keeps a thin sheet of head. The aroma was light to moderate malt, lime and stale bar. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and acidic; while the finish was moderately sweet, moderately to heavily acidic, lightly bitter and sour with an average duration. The flavor was malt, grain and lime but very un-sweet lime. More like lime rind. The last sip was very lime. Way more lime flavor when tasted directly from the bottle. The light to medium body was slightly syrupy with fizzy carbonation and a light astringent finish.

I think this beer is disgusting. It just tastes like carbonated water with lime flavoring and sugar added. There is no reason to try to justify the micro brew look, with the obvious macrobrew taste.

A little bit citrus-y; lime is pretty distinct. Above average palate. Good, easy to drink beer.
