Average lasting, little to no lacing. Grassy-citrusy aroma. Softly carbonated, hint of watery sweet lime flavor. Would probably be refreshing served ice cold on a hot summer day. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 15, 2008 Bottle (12oz). Clear bright copper with a large off-white foamy head 3+). Pretty generic and light aroma - mild roast stale cereal grain, a little papery bitterness and a hint of corn. Taste - same; watery, a little harsh and nondescript, a papery quick finish. Not carbonated much, per se, but stinging mouthfeel nonetheless, a sticky very faint dry stale-bitter aftertaste. donteatpoop (125), Youngstown, Ohio, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 15, 2008 Chestnut in color, poured a thich head which dissipated rather quickly. A bit heavily carbonated. Taste was a bit more refreshing than I expected, though all together average. The scent was a bit bland. All in all this was a decent brew, but nothing about it really made it stand out. I would probably drink this beer again, but I wouldn’t seek it out.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 14, 2008 It is what it is. Average wheat beer, thin, slightly watery. A good session beer, especially when its $2.99 a sixer. Nothing fancy, but nothing wrong with it either. If craft beer keeps going up in price, then is what I will be turning to, I’m sure. Not the best of the Blue Moons, but not the worst either. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 11, 2008 Clear amber body with a large frothy off-white head. Wheat aroma with some light fruitiness. Light wheat flavor, some caramel hints, and a citrusy finish, somewhat grainy. Medium light body with fairly high carbonation. valpoaj (363), Valparaiso, Indiana, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 11, 2008 On tap...pours medium golden with a thin head. Aroma is odd...very corn like with some yeast and citrus (lime) accents. Flavor is, well, not very good. Too much Corona going on here...I’m a fan of citrusy flavored beers, but the dominant lime flavor (which is very sour) is just too much...most of what is behind the lime is corn-like and somewhat bitter...almost medicinal. Not a good combination. Nothing great on the palate, highly carbonated and fizzy. Whew, glad I only got a sample of this one! biznizness (952), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 11, 2008 A boring ale with a touch of lime... NOT much else to say about this one. Doesn’t taste very wheaty to me at all. CelticBrew (713), The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 11, 2008 Pours from 12 oz bottle hazy amber with a moderate frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Light sweet citrus aroma. Light body with soft carbonation. The taste is light and somewhat smooth. Starting with a light body that is given a smooth mouth feel by the thick tight head, it goes down with a light yet crisp feel that comes off almost refreshing. Finish comes out of with a mild malt taste that is backed by a very light bitterness, then it ends clean with a very faint citrus taste. Heh, a bit of a surprise from Blue Moon.
