Samuel Adams White ale is a much better spring brew. I think this beer needs some coriander or something, it was really missing a strong flavor of any kind. Low on taste overall for an ale. hopscotch (5493), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 4, 2008 Bottle… Clear amber ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Great retention. Grainy, fruity aroma provides subtle notes of pale grains, caramel/crystal malts and a touch of lime. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Well-balanced and technically nice, but uninspiring; pulling up just shy of nondescript. Short, crisp, clean finish. Refreshing, at least. TheCaptain (558), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 3, 2008 Bottle-Another wheat which really hasn’t much of a flavor to me. Yellow and thin, small white head. A hint of Lime Citrus. Kind of weak, actually like regular Blue Moon a lot better. rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 3, 2008 Bottle. Yellow color, rather small white head. Way to thin aroma. Flavor is pretty much the same. Citrus and some hops, but this is really not a wheat beer to me. At leats not a good one... Most likely not going to have again. wcampbell (577), Central, South Carolina, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 2, 2008 Pours clear. Not much wheat in the aroma. Pretty weak flavor. Some tartness in the taste and finish. A few spices. Lightly tart finish. Light bodied and easily drinkable. DrBayern (1137), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 1, 2008 12 oz. bottle on 2/27/2008. Light yellow, thin white head that settles quickly. Light grainy aroma, I really couldn’t appreciate the lime however. Light body and lively effervescence, clean palate. Flavor characterized by a light wheaty sweetness and a citrus rind bitterness in the finish. Everything is quite understated, and that result is rather undistinguished, but palatable, and would be refreshing as a quick thirst quencher on a hot day. rugbydude05 (298), Kew Gardens, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 1, 2008 Updated: Apr 27, 200812 oz bottle, pours a hazy, dark, golden color with minimal head. Aroma is heavily hopped and smells fresh. Taste reflects the high hop character along with hints of lime. Very smooth palate and full flavor that fills your mouth. I cant believe its rated so low but I hope this spring season more people get to enjoy this beer and realize how good it is. Much better than regular Blue Moon.
