Pours a decent looking light brown and good head. Aroma is really light, with a bit of creamed corn. I really enjoy the kaffir in NB Loft, in this not so much. Weird bitter citrus flavor and metallic on the palate.

Blue Moon Rising Moon Spring Ale is an average wheat ale. The color is a nice amber and the head is a creamy white. The aroma is citrusy with some hops. The flavor is not bad, but also not good enough to order again. I would not order this beer again.

Light golden color with a modest white head. Hints of pale malt are overtaken by lime zest, and dry flowers. Hints of pale malt, light grain, citrus and light zest. Dry moderately bitter finish, with a caffeine bite. Somewhat quenching. Perhaps a hot some day would be the time for this rather than the springtime.

12oz. bottle: This one pours a color that is a cross between an amber and darker golden color. There was a fairly decent head on it that dropped off quickly. The aroma is a bit thin. The main notes are lime and a little wheat. The taste gets a fair. Hint of lime and wheat, but there is a slight metallic aftertaste. There are better lighter beers to quench your thirst.

pours a copper color with a one finger bubbly white head that disappears quickly. aroma is lime, grain, and leaf. has a touch of lacing a light body and ok carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma. ill pass on this one bad aftertaste as well.

A rich amber ale, pours with a lot of foam. Settles to a 1+ inch off white head. Great aroma of sweet wheat. The taste is a little lacking compared to the aroma. Strong malt flavor, with even stronger aftertaste. Not very carbonated, a little flat.

This pours a clear amber with a reasonable head that fades quickly, at least quickly for a beer made with wheat. I’m not sure what keffir lime leaf smells like, but I do recognize the lime peel. In fact the aroma and the flavor are reminiscent of the preserved lime peel I had once. Light body, more flavor than you’d expect from a macro beer, but not awesome. This would probably be averaging closer to a 3 if not for its source.

Amber hue, stale taste, slightly wheaty, sour milk and citrus hints, a let down
