Drank in a shaker on the coldest day of a very snowy and cold winter, so a spring seasonal seemed nice. Light for a wheat, with a little bit of lime taste and aroma. Overall, not unpleasant and maybe even sessionable if it hadn’t been such a damnable cold day. I switched to cocktails. mjg74 (1998), La Mesa, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 22, 2008 Bottle from BevMo. Copper/golden in color upon pouring. Wheat aroma dominated, some malt and a hint of yeast. Crisp wheat flavor right up front with a hint of maltiness. Some lime tartness in the finish. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 22, 2008 12 oz bottle. Amber-golden beer, creamy off-white head. Aroma is of caramelly industrial pale malt. Flavour has a fairly citrusy limey quality that isn’t there in the aroma at all. The citrus gives it a soapy and fairly nasty quality. Meh... the worst fo the Blue Moon seasonals I’ve had so far. Suttree (2734), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 22, 2008 For some reason, this reminded me of Killian’s, circa 1985 or so. I guess it was an odd sense memory or something like that. So imagine my surprise to find out this is a wheat ale. Almost no wheat character, out side of a little fruityness. A lot of grainy notes in thes one, too. brigg (216), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 21, 2008 Updated: Feb 3, 2008(bottle) Bubbling, crystal clear body and creamy, medium white head. Aroma contains some light malt, floral hops, and lime peel. Flavor is initially moderately sweet but it gives way to a lime flavor that is somewhat acidic and bitter. It is an unusual and odd sensation (I don’t like it). The aftertaste left me not wanting to finish the drink (but I did). fredjaz (108), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 21, 2008 not a very typical wheat beer, no sediment. Aroma and taste what you’d expect sweet malts and lime. Not horrible at first taste but gets a little hard to finish. JonnyC22 (164), Huntsville, Alabama, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 21, 2008 I was very skeptical when I bought this, as I have been burned by several of Blue Moon’s attempts at seasonals. This, however, was a good buy. Even though I generally don’t like wheat beer, the flavor of this was much better than average. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 20, 2008 Poured a copper color with a white head. The lime instantly hits the nose. Sweet malty beer with a hint of the lime. Pretty good, the lime taste is there, but not overbearing. Probably would taste better on a warm spring day.
