Aroma is harsh malty, with some dust and very light lime hops. Not to pleasant. Appearence is nice sparkling copper with a big off-white head that stays. Pretty decent lacing too. The taste starts a bit salty then goes to a bitter/sour hoppy flavor. Somewhat watery. Dry mouthfeel.

faint lime on the nose, the appearance was the best part about this beer, after that it goes terribly wrong!! wet wheat dominates on the entry & at mid-palate it takes on a metallic flavor, which turns into a short & funky finish. like blue moon in general, but this was a mistake. i’ll keep the other 5 from the 6 pk. in case the ex-wife ever stops by.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a medium rising off white head. The aroma is citrus and a light spice. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a light malt with lime notes and easy to drink. A good wheat ale from Coors, but not too much going on with it besides the lime.

12oz bottle. clear copper color with little fluff.. light hints of biscuit overtones with a lime scent. initial hit to the palate is very crisp but lacking any staying power. goes down easy, better than I expected, but it does lack the nice ending a good wheat should have..

12oz bottle of "Rising Moon." Pours a clear copper color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is earthy and tart, with a yeasty scent alongside lime, coriander, and other hoppy citrus notes. Taste is light, with a pronounced lime flavor along with some subtle twinges of hops, yeast, and caramel. Interesting attempt, but not nearly as full or complex as proper Blue Moon.

Bottle: Pours a clear amber with fluffy white head. A slight aroma of grain and lime with more yeast than anything. The more that I drink the more lime there is. It leaves a chalky taste on my tongue after the longer lime finish. As always it was worth a try (and a rating).

Tallahassee, Fl. - Publix Supermarket - Southwood. Light copper pour, spritzy, bubbly white head. Slight lime-ade in the aroma with hints of spice. Flavor has some of the same lime accents with some faint peppery accents. Finishes with a brief caramel flourish. Mouthfeel - nothing special - smooth and clean. Refreshing, not overly upset that I swung for a whole sixer of this.

Light wheat, damp pasteboard, light spice and yeasty aroma - definitely has the Blue Moon hallmarks all over the aroma profile. I generally like the Blue Moon labels. Beer is light oak colored, with a spongy white head. Interesting, limy and drinkable. Bitter lime tendrils clawing through an understated dry and under-hopped brew. Very light diacetyl. Finishes out pretty quickly, light body, leaves citrus on the lips.
