Bottle shared by beerbill. Amber beer. Light caramel and toast. A fairly nice grapefruity fresh hoppiness. Light apricot and peach. Soft fruit and a bit of light resiny hoppiness. Pretty nice simple pale ale.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with dkachur. Pours a hazy dark gold with a moderate-large off-white head that lasted until the bottom of the glass and left a layer of foam with each sip. Pleasant aroma of malt, grapefruit and pine. There is a very, very weak malt backbone, but that is immediately overrun by grapefruit. The grapefruit flavor is short-lived, leaving behind bitter, virtually flavorless pith, which continues through the swallow. Dry and bitter at the finish. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Pours with a rocky white head atop a bright ruby red body, orange at the thinner parts of the glass. Aroma is a mixed bag of malt and hops, pine and citrus with caramel and biscuit undertones. Flavor opens bready with a very reserved hop character in the middle of the palate, opening up to a strong bitterness that lingers. Very well-layered with fruity yeast notes interplaying against a great malt/hop balance. Mouthfeel is thick at first, drying and thinning as the bitterness takes over. A very fine IPA.

Dark reddish bronze, good head formation. Definitely piney and grapefruity, resiny, with fresh bread elements too. Long lasting clingy head, the head flavor is extremely bitter in a harsh, green way that is just tasty as hell. A solid IPA, drinkable yet intense enough to keep things interesting. Locals Tis the Season #1 from dkachur!.

Bottle thanks to Butters. Clear reddish caramel color with a thick creamy finger of white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of spicy citrus hops. Taste is more spicy pine hoppiness and a crisp pale malt backbone.

Bottle form dkachur. Thanks! Hazy golden pour with a nice head. The aroma is citrusy with hints of grapefruit and bready malts. THe flavor is also pleasantly hopps with more grapefruit and pine bitterness. A touch of sweetness too. Dry mouthfeel. Nice hoppy brew.

12 oz, bb 01 2009. Thanks to Butters. Clear orange-copper with a small, persistent head. Frosty lacing. Mild aroma of caramel and citrus. Flavor is woody resin, peppery spice, light marmalade, and toasted nut. Medium body is mostly smooth, dry and tingly.
