| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 23, 2008 Appearance: Pours a lightly hazy, shimmering orange body with a small, wipsy, white head.
Smell: Floral, leafy, even spicy hop character on a foundation of pale maltiness.
Taste: Sweet, candied pale malts initially. Overall, a tangy hop character, with a number of leaves, flowers, maybe a few drops of spiced lemon water pass by the palate. Medium-high bitterness that lingers beyond the bittersweet finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A tasty, flavorful APA. unclemattie (2416), Georgia, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 11, 2008 Pours a clear true amber with a nice head. The aroma is plenty of orange hops with a cracker malt backing. The flavor is nicely balanced for an IPA, but the hops comes through mostly in aroma and flavor instead of bitterness. Pretty easy-drinking beer. kramer (2465), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 10, 2008 12 oz bottle, via BA Deuane. Pours a nice clear dark gold body with a foamy small off-white head that settled to a wispy film. Fairly muted nose with a bit of citrusy hops and some crystal malt behind. The flavor is lots of high alpha hops, giving it lots of bitterness, but not a whole lot of hoppy flavor. The weak malt base really accentuates the unbalanced harsh bitterness. Lingering ashtray like harshness with a lingering crystal malt stale iced tea note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, on the drier side with moderate fizzy carbonation. Overall, this just isn’t my preferred expression on an IPA.
