12 oz bottle from a trade with dkachur. pours orange with a nice tan head. very good IPA appearance. aromas are nice and hoppy, mostly citrus hops but some piney aromas too, there is also caramel malt sweetness. flavours are similar to the aromas. very tight and well balanced. not very big or bossy, just a well crafted IPA.

Amber pour. Nose is full of hops and pale malts. The hops are citrusy and a tad fruity. Flavor is really hoppy, more than I expected. This brew is done very well.

Draft and bottle- oh yeah. This one is so nice, I wish I had more. It has that lovely harvest ale kick to it as some of the hops are grown on premises and used in the beer. This adds a really nice depth and level of flavor. Piney notes also contribute, with a subtle bitterness, and great malt backbone that lingers in the end. Well balanced, and extremely drinkable.

one of my first reviews from the brewery: Deep amber pour... head is on the short side, but long lasting - a light, almost sandy white. Lacing sticks the the glass all the way down. Light, floral hops... could be a little more aromatic and crisp, but the aroma present is a nice one. Round hop flavours... but very well-balanced all around. Citrus, herbal. Some sweetness in the body. One of the better local IPAs I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. Beautiful... slippery, but not quite oily. Glides through the mouth, just shy of leaving behind a sticky residue, which makes for an overall smooth drink. Nice attributes, it’s definitely one to be followed up with more. With a start like this, Blue Mountain could make for one of the finer breweries on the East coast.

Bottle courtesy of Alraomon. Pours a cloudy amber with a huge 3 finger marshmallow head that leaves spotty delicate lacing. Nose is grassy hops and malt. Taste is much hoppier than the aroma let on. Malt upfront with citrus hops dominating before giving way to a resin hop finish. Medium mouth feel. A very nice, drinkable IPA. Thanks Sean!

Bottle... RBSG ‘08... Clear, light amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head that lasts forever. Tropical fruit asserts itself in the aroma. Medium-bodied with stale carbonation. Definitely leans on the bitter side of balance. This one really bites back!
