Commercial Description: Our Rockfish Wheat KristallWeiss is not quite ready yet, so what do we do when we need to fill a tap? Pull a little fermented beer - unfiltered - straight from the tank. Known as "Kellerbier" (cellar beer... it’s what the brewers drink in the back all day to keep them working), this is an interesting preview of Rockfish Wheat, which in its finished form is much different. Served here "mit hefe" (with yeast) you not only get a lot of the banana and clove flavors the yeasts produce in huge quantity, but you also give yourself a good dose of all the B vitamins, which are very abundant in brewers’ yeast. Naturally carbonated in the keg, this beer is very, very cloudy! 20 IBUs.
