Peppery yet sweet nose, odd fruity tone I can’t quite place. Some lavender notes. Spice amps up quite a bit as it warms. Spicy flavors, a bit dusty, but a soapy astringent note keeps this from being far better. Still, pretty tasty. ChainGangGuy (2592), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA

Not only that, but I don’t even think it was well done. Un-eloquently put, this beer tasted like sweetened apple juice diluted wheat beer, with about as much carbonation as you’d expect from that marriage. Very weird. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2008 Listen to the Mandolin Rain! Uh anyway a murky orange appearance with a minimal white head. The aroma is sweet potatoes, candi sugar, and citrus. The flavor contains some oranges, spices, and more sweet potatoes. The finish is a bit syrupy. Different but ok. decaturstevo (2004), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 25, 2008 A floral purfume aroma that hints of corriander and Belgian yeast. A lightly hazed golden pour. Flavor of light speiced corriander and other spices. Medium bodied wit aggressive carbonation. A bit of an aftertaste that I dont find unpleasant but its a little bitterish. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
