Very spicey aroma, pepper and herbal aroma along with some lavender. Orange body with a very thin white head. Very spicey taste, overpowering at times. Rather bland ending.

Aug 4, 2008 Bottle: Pours a clear reddish gold with a white head. Aroma, dry apples, juice, doughy and some spice. Flavor, spices, doughy malts, yeast, cloying, some buttery notes.

Jul 26, 2008 Pours hazy orange with thick off white head. Aroma is hops and and spices. Weird spices and slight sweet notes dominant the taste. Doesn’t make me think tripel in drinking. Average.

Jul 3, 2008 Richmond Gathering. C&C 750, thanks to dkachur. Hazy gold with a small off white head. Peppery yet sweet nose, odd fruity tone I can’t quite place. Some lavender notes. Spice amps up quite a bit as it warms. Spicy flavors, a bit dusty, but a soapy astringent note keeps this from being far better. Still, pretty tasty.

Jun 12, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, orange-amber body with a small, wispy, white head.
Smell: Vague pale maltiness wrapped up with notes of orange citrus oils, yeast, and candi sugar.
Taste: Pale malts followed by a candi sguar sweetness. Distinct orangey taste. Mild hop bitterness. Light coriander spice character. Slight sour hint to the warm, drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Drinkability: A decent American-born tripel.
