Medium carbonation with a medium mouthfeel. Grain, alcohol, and light Saaz hop spiciness. Medium-short finish with a little lingering booziness. Great on a hot day and with an extra kick! atomcow1 (13), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA Jul 4, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. This is the best American pils I’ve tried in some time. Refreshing and well balanced, with a nice hop profile and bready malt backbone. The 2-ounce sample I had left me wanting much, much more. Yum. Kinz (2179), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA Jul 4, 2009 Sampled at Virginia Beer Festival, one of the more eagerly awaited samples of the day, and it didn’t disappoint. Medium gold, clear. Faint, undefined hop aroma. Flavor was nice, crackery malts with a very complex hop component - spicy and floral, with a hint of anise. Really nice flavor, enjoyed it.
