I think this is a much better offering then the toasted lager that they have nimbleprop (847), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 26, 2009 On tap at Blue Point. Transparent, yellow body with very little white head. Aroma is big on the blueberry, sweet, a touch bready. Flavor is mostly pale malts, a little thin, with some berry sweetness on the end. Watery finish. Too gimmicky for me. Appearance: Slightly hazy, gold color with a foamy, white head.
Aroma: Light nose mainly consisting of blueberry but some light malt notes too.
Flavor: Grainy with a slight blueberry note and a fairly forward back bitterness.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a light, watery mouthfeel and medium-short, slightly bitter finish.
Overall: Probably not my favorite in the blueberry ale world, but not terrible. LooseCannon (928), Norfolk, Virginia, USA

Aroma blueberries, blueberries and sweet malt. Taste malt, sweet and mild blueberries with bitter finish. Damico (172), Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Sep 19, 2009 There is not much aroma, subtle for fruit beer. The blueberry flavor can be tasted when you first sip it, but it dies down to a soft hops flavor. CUJO (346), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 31, 2009 bottle: pint glass: pours a yellow orange, leaving a thick wet head. WHile it smells like blueberry, and tastes like blueberry... also some wheat and yeats.... I am not thrilled. I am comparing this to the blueberry I had from "The Gilded Otter" and there is no comparison. There should be no question that real blueberries were used... the color, taste and feel should leave no doubt in my mind. Not the case here... RHeastings (404), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Enjoyed via a 12oz bottle. Notes of real blueberry come through in the nose, rather than the expected blueberry essence or artificial flavoring that is regretably found in so many fruit beers. The palate is also highly blueberry-centric, giving evidence that the base beer is a blonde or perhaps wheat ale. The only detraction was that the malt and hop characters were muted so much by the blueberry, that they were rendered essentially undetectable. A nice summer evening beer. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jul 16, 2009 This is really good. The nose is all blueberry, maybe more blueberry pancakes than simply the fruit. The taste is rich and pure blueberry, but not overbearing. I’ve had other fruit ales and they often have an artificial, obnoxious flavor to them. Not so with this brew from Blue Point. The berry flavor balances well with the yeasty flavor, making a truly delightful beer.
