Bottle sampled. Pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma of strong blueberries, citrus notes, and some hops. Flavor is light and refreshing with a mild bitterness in the finish.

Definatly my favorite beer ever. I like a wide selection of beers, but you always wish you could have a chick drink every once and a while. This is like looking manly while still drinking a great flavored beer. I’ve even had a girl that doesn’t even drink light beer say it tasted good.

A Sim rate (12oz bottle from a deli in Brooklyn; sipped in Williamsburg park with a view over Manhattan at sunset): Sweet blueberry with too much of a beery maltiness. It looks like fizzy beer, or even soda. Nothing appetizing about the appearance. No head and not a chance of lacing. Flavour is very blueberry; synthetically so in a fizzy soda kind of way. Slight malt. It was enjoyable, but I wouldn’t call it quality beer. Sinkable though.

Bottle; poured a copper color with not much off white head. Aroma was a very strong blueberry aroma; good aroma. Flavor wasn’t quite as good as the aroma, but it did taste like blueberries. Easy drinking, palate was pretty good. All in all, a good drinkable beer.

nicely done blueberry ale. i happen to like fruit beers unlike many people on here. i dont think you should compare a beer like this to beers like lambics or strong beers with fruit used. they are 2 completely different animals. no, this isnt as complex as those...but its a nice drinkable ale with enough blueberry flavor to bring to mind blueberry pancakes or muffins. maybe thats not what you want in a beer...i enjoy it.

A nice dark red-copper color and a fresh, yeasty aroma with a sweet malty tone. It has a light, fizzy feel, and a mild grainy taste with blueberry notes. The fruit flavor is pretty light -a little too light. This is a refreshing, but unexciting, fruit beer.

A nice summery drink. Low alcohol keeps it easy to drink while the blueberries makes it refreshing. They say blueberries help you keep a strong memory, so I guess drinking this ale is a wash.

Bottle with "purchase before" date of October (presumably 2007). Waft of blueberry aroma while puring, although it doesn’t seem particularly strong once in the glass. Reddish tinged color (not blue); head fades quickly. Light bodied and moderately fizzy. The taste reminds me of blueberry seltzer water or maybe diet blueberry soda (if there is such a thing). More tart than sweet, but not a whole lot of either. Only a little bit of beer-ness underneath. The upside is that it is easy drinking for the summer.
