(12oz bottle) Medium off-white head atop a crystal clear amber body with pink tones. Aroma is medium sweet, blueberry. Taste is medium sweet, blueberry, some cardboard, seltzer. Light body, some crispness.

From 12 oz bottle; poured a medium amber with a thin head. Evidence of beading. Aroma is quite sweet but due more to the malt; the blueberry is terribly faint. It reminds me of a Pop-tart or something. If I didn’t know this were to be a fruit beer, I might not have realized until I drank it, wondering what the source of that additional sweetness was. Flavour provides a very light sense of the blueberry but the rest is malt, malt, malt with maybe a touch of hop for a brief moment. Where’s the essence of the 132lbs? Because this is supposed to be a fruit beer but it doesn’t "taste" like it, I have to ask..."why?" Loses flavour marks from me. It’s less than okay but better than some others.

I’ll give it to them, it’s balanced. Has a purely natural blueberry aspect all around, and it’s subtle. Not some un-natural syrup like thing, it’s nice and light/natural. Light, upfront blueberry flavor followed by a cereal like oatiness and grain like flavor of malt. Has a balancing subtle hop finish. A metallic like flavor it also there. Somewhat unique.

New job celebration ale fo BisGude. Blueberry muffin aroma - in fact it’s more like strawberry shortcake’s (blue) "colored" friend, Blueberry Muffin whom according to sources "lacks common sense." It smells like one of those dolls, complete with used by a little girl smell. It’s a blond amberry forthhead beer. Maly with a good quality blueberry boone’s. like to drink it down even though it’s a silly girl toy, it’s like a summer blueberry lemonade...or something...only its beer and as no lemon flavor (?!) Not particularly tart on the tongue, it nonetheless builds up a nice tarty, fruity finish. I’m going to have to actually reccomend this one as a decent blueberry beer especially since my hop-dar kept me away from this kind of beer for months.

Golden amber body with a moderate head, decent lacing. Aroma is a blast of blueberries. Also other fruity notes in there. Flavor kept the blueberry thing going, also got some lemons. Not like witbier lemon taste, more like lemon soap.. which mighta been used to clean the glass (ugh). Still simple yet serviceable.

Flour City Brewfest ’06’. Almost transparent with a small white head. Aroma and flavor of Blueberries. Very light body. Easy drinking.

Great job on this fruit beer. Smell of blueberry, fresh bread. Pours with small white head into a deep amber color. Taste begins with a good balance of blueberries, spices, and sweet; and ends with a good mix of light hops and a great malt that is complex and gives the taste of fresh bread. Great fruit beer.

Bottle via secret santa Summer 2006. The beer pours to a nice glowing amber body with a fizzy white head that disapates to a thin head and leaves a nice lacing. The aroma is blueberries and funnel cake. The flavor is initially blueberries and finishes with a toasty malt. The blueberries linger for awhile. Reminds me of those totally unhealthy pie pockets with the frosting on them. The brand eludes me and google isn’t much help. Likely Hostess, but they must have changed the packaging... The palate has a lingering blueberry flavor and is medium bodied and perhaps a bit overcarbonated.
