Great refreshing beer for a hot summer day. The blueberry taste is not too overwhelming. Not too much head, aroma is nice.

1 pint draught, The Gingerman, NYC. Clear, but red in color. Head is pretty much average. Characteristic blueberry aroma. Flavour is very much like a pale ale, but with a strong blueberry background. Malty and nice.

Pretty good fruit beer. Some, but not that much blueberry flavor, though strongly smells of blueberries.

Bottle (12oz). Pale, bright, clear amber-peach with a smallish fizzy white head. Aroma of sweet blueberry, raspberry or cherry, faint lightly bitter floral hops and a hint of dry grainy malt. Tastes a bit like Sam Adams Boston lager with fresh blueberry infused - a nice balance. Mouthfeel is a bit watery, stingingly and lastingly carbonated, sweet and a bit astringent with a longish, gradually increasing bitter aftertaste, sort of like grapeseed. Quite nice, way better than I was expecting.

I have had the last years stuff and this years stuff, which I believe is bottled for the first time. It is a bit different than before and the abv on the bottle says 4.6 now. The beer pours a beautiful dark rose color. I really like this hue, and i am giving it my highest appearance rating for any completely lucid beer. The aroma is great, as everyoine says blueberry on the button. But its also a fresh natural blueberry aroma. And there is just a hint of maltiness in the background. The taste is also blueberry strong but not like a juice. Still definitly a beer just with lots of blueberrys. The mouthfeel was the only aspect I did not enjoy. Fizzy, thin body. Bought a 6-pack on whiim but will get another one soon.

Clear light orange pour with a thin white suddsy head. Aroma is blueberries. This is insteresting because these types of beer are usually wheat beers, but this is no such thing. I like this. Pretty nice.

Draft at HDG. Pure blueberries dominate the aroma. Taste is nicly balanced with the dry maltiness and tart and sweet berries. Worth a pint.
