Naka (412), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 3, 2008 On tap at D’s in Monroeville. Pours a clear golden color with a small foamy bone white head. Some nice lacing. Nose of sweet apple, fresh grass clippings, and a mild hop bitterness. Very crisp, yet kind of weak flavor. A little pilsy with a slight fruit character and dry mild hop finish. Pretty light body with a good bitey carbonation. Chapel (299), Levittown, New York, USA Feb 18, 2008 There is nothing interesting about this beer. If you could possibly imagine an "Imperial Budweiser" as in, a Bud that is given some extra attention in all categories minus the skunk, you basically have this. So what we are left with is a little bit of honey sweetness and a little bit of hop backing, but nothing that really makes it worth anything. gearbike (351), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA Jan 6, 2008 On tap at hop devil grill in NYC. Decent better that the regular ipa but still just fair. Strong yet drinkable but no very complex. goldtwins (3731), Nesconset, New York, USA Sep 29, 2007 Tap @ BP. Hazy light copper color with a small off-white head. The aroma is light and malty. Light malt flavor with a crisp and dry moderately bitter finish. zach8270 (1404), Henrietta, New York, USA Sep 8, 2007 (cask conditioned @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Clear golden color with a soapy white head. Aroma is confusing a bit. Spicy and slightly hoppy with a damp earth note at the end. Hard to place. Flavor is sweet at the start then very damp and has a slight bitterness at the end. Didn’t know this was as strong as it was.
