beerbill (1918), Laurel, New York, USA Oct 2, 2009 On tap at the brewery. Pours a somewhat darkened hazed gold with a moderate off-white head. Pleasant aroma of malt along with some very light fruit. The flavor is similar and is again mostly malt with some light fruit flavor and sweetness. Moderate bitterness at the finish. Not all that exciting, but no problems either. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 20, 2009 on tap-pours a rich white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is sweet light malt, spice hops. Taste is sweet light malt, spice/perfumy hops. yobdoog (1425), Woodridge NY, New York, USA Sep 17, 2009 Golden color small fluffy head. Aroma is sweet with some belgian spice. Flavor has some faint pine, mostly sweet, simple. Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Sep 15, 2009 Draft. Pours a golden body with a white head. Sweet with some fruit esters and a mild warming with some grain. A lightly floral citrus character but bread y at the same time. Okay. blipp (1630), Newark, New Jersey, USA Sep 13, 2009 Draft. Pours orange with an off white head. The aroma is fruity sweet with sweet malt notes. The flavor has some toffee like sweetness, grain, and a light hoppy finish. Not bad. Naka (524), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 3, 2008 On tap at D’s in Monroeville. Pours a clear golden color with a small foamy bone white head. Some nice lacing. Nose of sweet apple, fresh grass clippings, and a mild hop bitterness. Very crisp, yet kind of weak flavor. A little pilsy with a slight fruit character and dry mild hop finish. Pretty light body with a good bitey carbonation. Chapel (329), Levittown, New York, USA Feb 18, 2008 There is nothing interesting about this beer. If you could possibly imagine an "Imperial Budweiser" as in, a Bud that is given some extra attention in all categories minus the skunk, you basically have this. So what we are left with is a little bit of honey sweetness and a little bit of hop backing, but nothing that really makes it worth anything. gearbike (413), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA Jan 6, 2008 On tap at hop devil grill in NYC. Decent better that the regular ipa but still just fair. Strong yet drinkable but no very complex.
