Tap @ BP. Hazy light copper color with a small off-white head. The aroma is light and malty. Light malt flavor with a crisp and dry moderately bitter finish.

(cask conditioned @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Clear golden color with a soapy white head. Aroma is confusing a bit. Spicy and slightly hoppy with a damp earth note at the end. Hard to place. Flavor is sweet at the start then very damp and has a slight bitterness at the end. Didn’t know this was as strong as it was.

Tap @ Blue Point Brewery. This was a puzzler, and even now, hours after trying it, I can’t quite render a verdict. The beer pours golden with a nice white head and barely noticeable lacing. The taste is smooth and dominated by spicy and bread notes with citrus and a slight hop characteristic thrown in. A very interesting brew, and a commendable experiment for Blue Point. A for effort, Incomplete (though good) for the beer.

Light fruity aroma, golden orange color with white head. Well balenced carbintion. Not bad, i would drink this again. Had this at the waterfront ale house in Brooklyn Heights.

Draught at Pete’s (Waterfront) Ale House. Amber colored with a frothy head, leaving some spots of lacing. Aromas of biscuity malts, some (slightly rotting?) fruit and moderate floral and citrus hops. Slightly sweet light caramel malt flavor balanced somewhat by citrusy hops, though I kept sensing this twiggy/sappy/leafy thing underneath. Didn’t pick up on any "smoke" in the malts, but then again I wasn’t looking for it. Had a lot of trouble deciding if I was really into this or not. An "imperial blonde ale"? Overall worth trying if you can find it.

Draught. Orangey, not much hops or color, poured amberish. OK but not that sweet.

Plastic pint pour at the brewpub. Color is orange/gold and absolutely clear. Aroma is a meaty sweetness (not smoke), some sugary flowers with some sweet cereal. Taste is a thick lemon-like biscuit malt and something I like to call "a german sweetness that you know shouldn’t be there." Finishes malty lemon and thick on the palate yet a light-medium drinkable body. A very strange beer, billed as an Amsterdam-inspired brew, yet it definitely taste like a sweet German beer. So I give it points for originality. Definitely would like to drink again.

I had this on tap and it was big. It seemed to have a much higher alchohol content and the heavy notes of hops sure did carry a long way. It had herbal notes and spme spices that I could not decipher.
