Okay, but not great. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

Light malty aroma, golden, with a tiny white head. Huge malt flavour at first, very bitter hops, and then a lovely butterscotch meringue, with something akin to allspice. Full bodied, tongue tingling, very well balanced. A wonderful little surprise! notalush (2687), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 24, 2004 Odd beer - initial flavors are of hops, but those quickly fade and make way for light, fruity, belgian-like flavors - apples, pears and citrus are all evident - drinkable, but they make much better.
