Hazy golden beer, fine head. Full flowery hoppy aroma, the proper malty body to go with it. Ripe summer fruit, peach and orange, ending up in a grassy dry finish. Lovely with tasty food, I had some Parmesan cheese and cured spicy sausage.. KieferUGA (353), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Sep 27, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a light orange color. Thin, white head. Fruity, bready aroma.
Light hoppy flavor with some bready notes
miketd (372), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Sep 26, 2008 Pour is cloudy orange with a decent off white head. Aroma is piney and kinda floral. Flavor is mild up front, but has some harsh bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied. ratman197 (2348), Arvada, Colorado, USA Sep 24, 2008 Bottle poured a lightly hazy copper with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of earthiness, pine, carmel and light grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a lightly dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, pine and light citrus with a smooth lightly dry lingering moderatly bitter finish. Sparky27 (587), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Sep 20, 2008 Bottled October 2008. Pours a clear light amber with a fast receding off white head but decent lacing. Nose is lots of sweet caramel – most of the hops have left. Taste is pretty much the same with a mild pine bitterness in the finish. Medium, sticky mouth feel. I think this one is past its prime unfortunately. I’ll have to rerate it if I can score a fresher one to do it justice. I’ll give it higher score than it deserves now, as I think it’s a better beer than what i’m drinking.
