The inital taste is that of a very good IPA: a bit bitter, very hoppy, a tiny bit of citrus. The taste didn’t follow through on the palate giving you the complete experience however and I was left wanting more. tgncc (809), Bellmore, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Nice aroma of citrusy/grapefruit hops. The appearance is standard for an IPA, yellow with a tinge of red, very inviting. Nice crisp taste, with a good balance between fruitiness and the bitterness of the hops. Very pleasant, hoppy finish. Decent carbonation. Medium mouthfeel. Good IPA overall. anthlovesbeer (67), north grafton, Massachusetts, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 23, 2008 Thick, sediment-filled amber with a large rich head. Very toffee-like malts with some citrus and slight pine malts. Tasty, not very distinctive. Gr0ve (1393), Oslo, Norway
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Half pint draught. Crystal clear golden colour. Small white head that clings to the glass. Served in a frosted glass. Light refreshing aroma of apricots and yellow plums. Notes of oranges and grass. Light-bodied. Nice mello drying hop flavours. Rounded maltiness and a drying hop finish. Quite nice for an IPA. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 10, 2008 Pours to a lovely, inviting hue of mandarin orange. Brightly hazed, like the sun through fog; a thin film of milk foam. Aroma is dried out green spices, grassy minerals, cotton candy, graham cracker and cookie dough. Balanced and quite understated. Flavor is a barren but soft bitterness of dried grass and pinecone hops; hints of jasmine tea, rosewater, and sesame seeds. Vague buttery sweetness riding on burnt corn kernels. Plenty of raw, bitter grapefruit and tangerine zest, but no real fruit qualities. Some wetter sweetness of malt leaks in on the mid palate with toffee and honey. Palate is creamy and dry; light to medium in body, and brisk. Finishes with a pleasant floral hop perfume; putting aside the dying whimpers of diacetyl and the hop presence that could stand a little more freshness, this is a refreshing, careful and delicate example. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 9, 2008 i don’t necessarily like hoppy beers, except a select few. but i can still appreciate a descent ipa for what it is. aroma - sweet orange, citrus smell and hops. flavor - a little sweet, some herbs, pretty hoppy, but not overdone, which is what i expected from the name - kind of light for an ipa, goes down easy. I wish it was a little sweeter to balance out the hops like the dogfish 60 and 90 minute ipas. had an interesting bitter finish with some lingering pine. TeamTrappist (382), jericho, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2008 I have to admit, with a name like this I expected it to be insanely over hopped, which it isn’t. But it does have a nice, fairly strong hop flavor, with a somewhat bitter finish. Nice and very drinkable beer.
