Sweetness, pine, and slight resin aroma, slight lychee and orange with a little funk – great, great hoppy aroma. Grapefruit, too! Hazy orange-golden body with an orange-tinted beige head. Hoppy taste, light-medium bitterness with light breadiness and increasing, REAL grapefruit taste (not the pink stuff they sell off in juice cocktails, but fresh-squeezed), dry with light resin balanced by a subtle sweet hint in the bg. Medium body with a dry, hop-kissed finish. Pleasant surprise! bdjames29 (272), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 4, 2007 This had a very strong hop smell and a lot of flavor, an overall great beer. MrBunn (1525), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 1, 2007 Bottle. Has an orange/amber color with a dense one finger head. Aromas are predominantly pine... a bit of a skunk cabbage smell that from time to time is detectable along with some grapefruit. Flavor is fairly heavy on the piney hops and is mostly bitter. That said, there is enough malt to make it mostly enjoyable. Refreshing but could have just a bit more of a malt presence. rocbyter (912), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA
