Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a thick head and lots of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet and quite hoppy. I also noted grapefruit in the aroma. The flavor starts out a bit sweet and finishes fairly bitter. Some grapefruit and pine in the finish. Very colorful packaging ! durandal7 (4), New York, New York, USA does not count Oct 27, 2006 On tap at blue point brewery, aroma of awsome west coast hops, grapefruity citrusy goodness, carbonation fits the spiciness of the hops, medium body, slight malt sweetness, overwhelming yet drinkable hoppiness, having one begs you to have another. one of my personal favorites (although consistancy from batch to batch is not very solid), I always have a six pack in the fridge. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Oct 22, 2006 12oz bottle-pours an offwhite head with gold color. Aroma is medium citrus hops-grapefruit, secondary malt. Taste is medium citrus hops-grapefruit, pungent, floral, secondary malt. Bitter finish. Good carbonation. Deep yellow in color very cloudy brew with a nice thick head. The hops aroma was awesome nice thick with hops and the flavor was one for the NW. A great IPA for the Eastern seaboard.
Kpfeifle (13), Patchogue, New York, USA Sep 28, 2006 Nice cloudy amber color in the glass. Not a hops monster, but very well balanced. Citric and fruit flavors, finishes clean with a slight carmel taste. Very nice middle of the road IPA. sliffy (1966), Columbus, Ohio, USA Sep 27, 2006 Bottle: Slightly hazy orange pour with a medium white head. Aroma, oranges, some traces of sweetness, and a bit of citrus. Flavor, citrusy, some pale malts, quite sweet. Odd bitterness, refreshing though.
