Deep yellow in color very cloudy brew with a nice thick head. The hops aroma was awesome nice thick with hops and the flavor was one for the NW. A great IPA for the Eastern seaboard.

Sep 28, 2006 Nice cloudy amber color in the glass. Not a hops monster, but very well balanced. Citric and fruit flavors, finishes clean with a slight carmel taste. Very nice middle of the road IPA.

Sep 27, 2006 Bottle: Slightly hazy orange pour with a medium white head. Aroma, oranges, some traces of sweetness, and a bit of citrus. Flavor, citrusy, some pale malts, quite sweet. Odd bitterness, refreshing though.

Sep 17, 2006 Tap at the brewery. Pours a dark golden yellow with a light to medium head, good lacing. Sweet aroma, hints of citrus. Sweet citrus flavor, good hop-ness. Good bitter finish, no illusion here!

Sep 1, 2006 Thanks illinismitty. Pours with a golden orange body topped by a thick head with lots of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet and hoppy with nice grapefruit notes and an underlying pine note with a touch of malt. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty quickly turning bitter and hoppy with notes of pine and grapefruit. Medium bodied, smooth and a touch warming.

Aug 26, 2006 Updated: Jan 21, 2007Nice golden orange pour with a full head. Aroma isn’t too strong, but hints at floral, citric hops. Watery and thin. Some hop bitterness, not much flavor. Lacking a lot in the malt department. Possibly a band-aid flavor, as well as metal in there somewhere. Overcarbonated. Quite the disappointment.

Aug 25, 2006 Bottle obtained in a trade with Illinismitty... thanks Sean! Pours a clear, golden color with a medium head and very sticky lacing. Aroma is light and fruity with a slight hop hint that comes through in the back. Flavor is hoppy and piney with a slightly dry finish. Pretty good beer that I could definitely site and drink two or three of in a sitting! Thanks again Sean!
