Simcoe pinyness and some tropical pineapple notes. Soft resiny character. Great fresh hoppy aroma. Sweet apricot in the malt profile as well. Flavour is quite good, light resin underneath a fresh herbaceous hop flavour. Some sweet tropical and slightly piny notes. The malts show a bit of breadiness and toast, but the hops dominate here. Aroma is all PNW but the flavour is a little less so. Tasty IPA. jimbowood (950), Athens, Georgia, USA

Subtle fruity, flowery hop aroma matched by delicate flowery hop flavor. Not aggressively hopped. Drinkable w/ little hop bitterness but big hop fruitiness. Really good beer. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 7, 2006 Nice pour that is orange tan with a fat creamy head. Wonderful hop aroma that is citrus and pine with a little candy. Yeah man, that’s bitter. Tongue numbingly bitter pine that makes me smile. Some toast flavor in the finish. Some grapefruit is here too. A nice hop experience.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 5, 2006 Bottle. Poured your basic translucent amber/gold....small whitish head. Nice hop nose...and the flavor follows suit. Decent maltiness to back things up. Medium bodied...decent bitterness. This is a pretty good IPA....wouldn’t mind having this one again. zach8270 (2085), Henrietta, New York, USA

Aroma is full of hops. Very nice and floral. Flavor wasn’t as hoppy as I thought it would be, although it has a very nice hoppy taste. At the beginning it’s a load of hops and floral notes with a slightly sweet and malty middle and a bitter, hop finish. Very smooth and a little watery.
