Jun 28, 2009 12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Short Pump, VA. Pours a clear light copper color with a medium head. Fair head retention and lacing. Faint aroma of caramel and resiny hops. Taste is very hoppy... citrus, pine, resin. Caramel malts as well. Medium bodied. Decent.

Jun 2, 2006 Poured an amber-yellow color with a small head. Aroma was slightly hoppy with some wood and pine flavors detectable. Mouthfeel was medium bodied with minor carbonation. The flavor was woody, malty and enjoyable. Lacing was excellent while drinking.

Sep 1, 2006 Thanks illinismitty. Pours with a golden orange body topped by a thick head with lots of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet and hoppy with nice grapefruit notes and an underlying pine note with a touch of malt. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty quickly turning bitter and hoppy with notes of pine and grapefruit. Medium bodied, smooth and a touch warming.

Jul 18, 2006 Full amber with some suspended yeasties or whatever. The aroma is fairly stinging hops. The malt balances the hop bitterness well. The hops are a little harsh, but not too much so.

Oct 2, 2009 Bottle: Poured a clear medium amber color ale with a rather large foamy head with OK retention and no lacing. Aroma of medium bitter hops with some floral notes. Taste is a nice enough mix between some bitter hops with a stronger then expected caramel malt backbone. Body is a bit thin for style with good carbonation. Not bad though a bit shy on the hops for the style.

Deep yellow in color very cloudy brew with a nice thick head. The hops aroma was awesome nice thick with hops and the flavor was one for the NW. A great IPA for the Eastern seaboard.

Aug 13, 2007 Bottle; poured an orange amber with medium white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and caramel. Nice aroma, balanced well. Flavor was similar to the aroma; pretty strong bitterness. Good sessional.
